Construction Industry Training Centre (Europe) Ltd provides training, consultancy and audits to clients throughout the UK. We deliver comprehensive training and consultancy tailored to meet current regulations. With a custom built training facility and experienced personnel, qualified to run a number of training courses, including the Construction Skills-Site Safety Plus Scheme which includes SMSTS and SSSTS for site supervisors, IOSH, City and Guilds and NEBOSH along with many other construction related courses.

Our Main training centre and head office is based in Rawtenstall, Lancashire although we provide training, consultancy and audits to clients throughout the UK, delivering comprehensive training and consultancy tailored to meet current regulations. Introducing the Plant Managers Safety Training Scheme

This course is designed for plant managers, plant instructors, plant inspectors, workshop
managers, project managers, agents and persons who are, or who are about to be, responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering staff, groups of staff and workforce.

The course covers all the relevant legislation and other aspects which affect safe working in the construction plant industry, civil engineering industry and building industry. It highlights the need for risk assessment in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture among the workforce.

With effect from 1 January 2010, UKCG member companies will adopt a new supervisor training standard to ensure that supervisors working on their sites can demonstrate that they have the necessary knowledge and skills to supervise their workers effectively. Below are dates for the SSSTS course that meets the standard required and also dates for the SMSTS & PMSTS courses.
