The comprehensive course covers current legislation, hazard identification, safe working practices, equipment
selection, working breathing apparatus, use of oxygen as an adjunct to resuscitation, practical confined space entry.
The course is designed to meet the requirements of Thames Water AP2 but covers in depth training to meet the
needs of many water companies. A certificate valid for 3 years shall be issued upon successful completion of this
course.

Who should attend
This course is designed for all personnel who are required to enter confined spaces by their employer. The course is
generally suitable for confined space entry within the sewerage industry at AP2 level. This three day entry course
would generally be required for entry into Thames Water sewerage systems. This course is designed for operatives
who may be required to enter for rescue purposes.
