Safe Entry into the Water UK Classification NC2, NC3 and NC4 Category Confined Spaces using self contained breathing apparatus as part of a planned means of escape.

Be nominated to work in or at confined spaces where work has been
assessed and classified as Risk Level
NC2, NC3 and NC4 under the Water UK scheme and to prepare them
for assessment on Unit 824.
Course content
The content of the course includes information and training in:
Prepare breathing apparatus for use observing duration indicators
and user checks
Don and wear breathing apparatus correctly observing all fitting
and performance checks.
Don the apparatus and effect an emergency evacuation of a confined
space
Undertake all user tests and hygiene procedures on the breathing
apparatus on completion of the work.
Note:-
Assessment / Certification
Candidates who successfully complete a written or oral test of
knowledge of this subject and successfully complete the
practical exercise in the key skill areas will be awarded a City
and Guilds certificate of post training competence.

Persons who are required to work in Water UK NC2, NC3, and NC4
Risk Assessed Confined Spaces.
