This course is designed to give an understanding of the Noise at Work Regulations and their practical implications. Delegates
are shown a simple method for noise assessment calculations. Noise hazard assessment, noise control and hearing protection
programmes are also covered. To provide delegates with the knowledge and confidence to carry out accurate noise surveys and
effective noise assessments in a variety of workplace situations.

Who should attend
Nominated individuals within areas where a risk assessment highlights
noise as a risk and who will have the
responsibility for determining which areas need monitoring, carrying
out the detailed Noise assessments for the area,
deciding what systems and procedures to use, ’supervising’
those charged with doing the tests, interpreting the results
and write management reports etc.
