Pedestrian & Gang Mowers

Aims

By the end of the course all delegates will:

• Be able to state the Health & Safety requirements of operating a pedestrian mower
  
• Be able to operate the mower in a safe and efficient manner
  
• Correctly adjust and prepare the machine for cutting
  
• Be able to undertake daily and weekly maintenance procedures

Who should attend?

Personnel who are required to operate Mowers within their workplace

Course content

• Responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
  
• Pre-operational checks and daily maintenance
  
• Correctly adjusting and preparing the machine according the manufacturers/employers specification
  
• Safe operation of the mower

Safety Helmet, High Viz Vest, Safety Boots
